Thomas Terry was my sixth great-grandfather, if I counted on my fingers right. Miss Mary Littell was his first wife.

The marriage took place on 2 December 1766, Westfield, Union Co., New Jersey. There was only one child of record or that has been found for this couple. Mary Littell Terry. Sadly this marriage was not long-lived, we find a death date for Mary Terry on the 21 January 1768 in Westfield, Union Co., New Jersey. I don’t have a cause of death but I do wonder if it was in childbirth.

My sixth great-grandmother was Thomas’ third wife Ann (Nancy) Shaw.
